So, I'm back in Iceland now, and damn if it doesn't feel good to be home. New Year's Eve was as ridiculous as ever, and the new crew are still good people to hang out with. As soon as I get filled in with what I did after the fireworks, I'll let you know, provided it's family appropriate of course.
The Thesis of Doom has been written, and is in Helgi's hands for review before I print it off and submit it for publication and grading. I have Old Norse II to redo and, once that's done, it's off to Nottingham (in theory) for me!
I've also gotten papers accepted at both the Western Michigan Medieval Congress in Kalamazoo, and the Leeds International Medieval Congress, which is awesome. It's like they almost think I'm an academic. Almost.
So, there'll be more photos posted when I get around to taking them , and more talk about Old Norse-y stuff.
It's good to be home.
